Itinerary:
Thursday, November 5th

We begin our Jim West Quiltaway Program in New York City with your arrival at the centrally located Milford Plaza Hotel. We will gather at 3pm in the lobby of the hotel and begin a leisurely walking tour, seeing Times Square and Theater District through a quilter’s eye. We will return back to our hotel to relax before enjoying delicious “Welcome Dinner.” The remainder of your evening is at your leisure.

Friday, November 6th

This morning we will enjoy a Panoramic Tour of the Big Apple! We will also stop for a tour at the Folk Art Museum, where a private guide will take us through the textile area of the museum. There will be time for shopping in some of the local fabric and quilt shops before traveling to Central Park and a special lunch at the popular Tavern on the Green restaurant. The remainder of the afternoon and evening are free for you to enjoy at your leisure. You may opt to see another museum on your own, shop in one of the many stores on 5th Avenue, or even visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy the rest of your day!

Saturday, November 7th

This morning is free time for you to enjoy at your leisure. We are providing everyone with the use of a Hop-on Hop-off bus pass to use throughout the city, so you can visit Ground Zero and Upper and Lower Manhattan. This afternoon we will all enjoy the excitement of seeing a Broadway show, with a possibility of going backstage to see the costumes when the show is over. This is a very special treat exclusively for our group. Tonight, we will dine “Italian Style” for a Farewell Dinner.

Sunday, November 8th

This morning we have arranged for you to check-out of your hotel a little later than usual, before you leave to go home. Jim will be available to assist with any questions.
